U8

The U8 program gives 6 and 7-year-old skiers an introduction to racing skills through the FUNdamentals of skiing (Alpine Canada Skier Development). With a focus on further developing skiing skills and an introduction of racing skills, the U8 program is great for strong young skiers.

Participants should be graduates of the Chicopee Snow School at an Intermediate-3 (I3) level with the ability to independently ski any hill at Chicopee with confidence and ride any chair with minimal assistance.

Per Alpine Ontario regulations, program participants must be a Chicopee Member for the applicable race season and are required to wear a hard eared helmet. The U8 race program is by invitation only, interested participants are required to contact the Race Office at racing@chicopee.ca prior to registering.

• Friday Night Gates: Jan 12 to Feb 23, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
