Letter from the Head Coach

Dry land training was well attended this season with an average of forty racers coming out each Saturday morning to prepare for the season. The club property gives us great terrain for aerobic workouts and the many cycling and climbing features adapt well to balance and strength initiatives.

Six of our racers are just returning from a two week ski camp in Colorado with Peter Bassin Jr. the Head Coach of the Kelly Vanderbeek Ski Team. The KVST works with graduates of the Chicopee Ski Team that are pursuing elite level individual race programs.

Twenty families are heading to Mont Tremblant December 13th for our annual race camp. Our coaching staff will work with athletes on big mountain terrain and in race courses on dedicated training lanes.

All this preparation will ensure Chicopee racers of another great season of race results!
