We will be holding a massive ski and snowboard swap from 9:00am - 5:00pm
Skis // Snowboards // Boots // Bindings // and Outwear will be sold

Entry Fee: Members = $2 // Non-members = $3

Consignment Sales

Give us your equipment to sell for $2 per item, and we receive a 10% commission. If we are unable to sell your item, you get it back.

Equipment FAQ

What can I sell in the Ski & Snowboard Swap?

Skis & snowboards, boots, bindings and poles and ski helmets as well as lighty used, well kept clothing.

Are there any limitations on what equipment will be permitted into the Swap?

All equipment must be brought into our staff prior to the swap who will then asses its retail value, in accordance with the seller. Defective or un-indemnifiable equipment will not be processed.

Are there guarantees or warranties on equipment that I purchase in the Swap?

No.

Will all the equipment that I purchase at the Swap be ready to ski or snowboard with for this season?

Yes – aside from any minor binding adjustments, or tuning that you may wish to have performed.

Can I get equipment that I purchase at the Swap tuned or adjusted that day?

Yes, but in all reality it will not be ready to take home that day due to volume of people looking to get their equipment tuned.

Will there be any new equipment at the Swap?

Yes, there will be several retailers on hand from which you can purchase brand new equipment.

Format FAQ:

In past years, I have had to come stand with my gear in order to sell it… is this still the case?

NO. This year all gear will be sold on consignment. Therefore sellers wishing to sell MUST drop off their equipment between Monday NOV 2nd through Fri, Nov 6th between the hours of 2pm and 7pm at Chicopee.

What does a Consignment Sale mean?

Consignment means that Chicopee will do the selling for you for a % of sales. In this case it will cost $2/item PLUS 10% of the selling price.

What are the entry fees for admission to the Swap?

To enter the swap it will cost $2 for members or $3 for non-members.

When can I bring my gear in to enter it into the swap?

From Monday Nov 2nd through Friday Nov 6th during the hours of 2pm through 7pm. Equipment being delivered on the day of the swap will be subject to approval, and will be assessed an additional $5 to be entered in the swap.

What criteria will Chicopee be using to evaluate what can and cannot be sold in the Swap?

All ski bindings must meet minimum insurable standards and all other equipment must meet safe operating standards as per the discretion of Chicopee’s tech shop staff. (Must be indemnifiable)

What happens with any equipment that is not sold in the Swap?

All equipment must be picked up between Sunday Nov 8th and Wednesday Nov 11th otherwise such equipment will be donated to a local charity as of Nov 12th.

When can I pick up my unsold goods?

At Chicopee on the aforementioned dates between the hours of Noon and 7:30pm.

When can I pick up my consignment cheque?

***UPDATED NOVEMBER 10***
Due to the overwhelming success of the swap, consignment cheques will not be available Nov. 10 as was expected, but will be made available for pick up Thursday November 12. Cheques that are not picked up will be mailed out Monday November 16. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Why has Chicopee changed the Swap format?

As a response to the comments from swap visitors that claimed the swap was far too busy for them and were hoping to have more space to move. Chicopee’s annual swap will now be able to control the quality of goods entering the swap, as well as the atmosphere within the swap. These changes will result in a much more successful swap for everyone involved.

What else will I be able to do at the Snow Show?

The swap will also feature great giveaways, fashion shows at 10:30am and 1:30pm in the Silvertip Lounge and a preseason RAIL JAM from noon until 5pm

Will there be food and drink available at the Swap?

Yes…lots. BBQ’s, Hot & Cold drinks, snacks, and other refreshment & food items.
