February 20 : Chicopee Family Day

Make it a family trip to Kitchener’s Winter wonderland on Family Day. Whether you are a skier, snowboarder, or have never been on the hill before, Chicopee is the place to celebrate togetherness with your family.

Never strap on a pair of skis or a snowboard? Chicopee is offering your family the opportunity to try skiing and snowboarding at an amazing rate! For only $264 (tax included), a family of 4 can learn to ski and snowboard. Not only do you save $104, you get full day beginner centre lift tickets, full day rentals, 1 group lesson and $5 food vouchers for all members in your family. Lessons are available from 9am - 3pm on the hour. Last group lesson begins at 3pm. We’re also offering our Discover Programs at $66 per person (tax included). You get everything above, at an individual rate - a total savings of $26!

From 11am - 2pm, we will have Bre Creative face painting and Happy Space - JP Magic entertaining the kids with magic and balloon animals. DJ Flash will be spinning music on the hill all weekend and Family Day. Back by popular demand, Global Exotic Pets is bringing back their reptile show to Chicopee. Our partners Strickland Auto, McMaster Sports, OW Sports, and Clif Bars will also be on-site. Our Kids Zone sponsor, Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, will also be making a special announcement in the Lounge at 1pm.

In the Lounge, we will offer a discount of $2.00 off our Nachos and Pick 3 Appetizers, and $2.00 off our Large Pizzas. Children under 12 get free pop with lunch in the Lounge. All appetizers will also be half price from 3pm - 4pm.

We will be holding two free clinics at the hill from noon - 3pm. Our Learn 2 Race clinic gives you a chance to try racing with Chicopee’s certified coaches who will be on hand to guide you through the process. Our Learn 2 Park clinic gives you an opportunity to try our beginner park features under the watchful eye of Chicopee’s Park certified instructors.
